Get the support & accountability you need to build a business you love
Blergh, this is hard
I feel you, girl. I've been side hustling since 2015 and adding new skills to my world each year, like teaching online and podcasting (my 2018 addition!)
But every time I start a new project, I spend so much time Googling things like, “What kind of microphone is best for my in-home podcasts studio?” or “How can I teach adults Excel without having them feeling bored and confused?” (OK, that second search didn't have any results. But I figured it out by immersing myself in Adult Learning Theory.)
I enjoy doing the research and the work, but I'll be honest. I felt really overwhelmed at times (and still do!) when I think about how many decisions I need to make about my business or where to focus my efforts.
- What should I name my podcast?
- How do I find listeners and customers?
- Am I literally doing everything wrong someone please tell me.
And so I do what any determined woman in my shoes would do. I bother my friends about it. But well-intentioned as they are, most of my friends haven't run businesses or podcasts before, so although they offer their advice, I often wished I had other new business owners to sanity check my latest business idea, or to offer advice about what's worked for them.
I'm building an community for women in their 20s & 30s who are starting an online business or side hustle
It can be anything from monetizing a blog to selling coaching or online courses, and it's ok if you've barely started out or if you've had a bit of success but feel like you could be doing more.
Because here's what I believe. Life isn't a solo activity, and I think that what sets great entrepreneurs apart isn't skills or talent. It's their community, and the fact that they have like-minded doers around them to help each other out along the way.
So that's what I want to offer you, my new internet friend.
This group is for you if you feel a deep need to pursue a passion and create something meaningful to share with the world, but you're stuck on what to do next, and you're feeling a little bit, well, alone.
You aren't alone. We're going to figure this one out together, and we're going to hold each other accountable along the way.
You'll meet people starting blogs in your category.
Find someone to co-host your podcast with.
You'll team up with accountability partners to actually have conversations with humans – and not just big posts in a Facebook group, no offense to Facebook – and you'll finally feel a sense of relief.
You'll finally have the guidance, trainings, and community to build that thing you've always dreamed about.
